A traditional 20th-century building, this Berrynarbor holiday cottage dates back to 1910 and has been lovingly restored by the homeowners into a welcoming holiday retreat with breathtaking views.
A contemporary kitchen with a large central island is filled with every appliance to hand and is where you can cook delicious meals for the family and bake scrumptious cakes with the kids. The breakfast bar is hand-crafted with reclaimed wood creating the perfect space for you to enjoy a full English breakfast in the morning before heading out the large French doors and onto the front lawn. Tastefully furnished, the lounge has a wood-burning stove, a 65″ smart TV and a comfortable sofa allowing you to cosy up in front of the fire; this magnificent accommodation in Berrynarbor is perfect for families and friends to enjoy all year round. A large arch leads through to the formal dining area, and original windows overlook the spectacular views surroundings.
Four beautifully furnished bedrooms sit upstairs, sleeping seven lucky guests in total. Three bedrooms have large windows with views over the garden or woodland and storage in the wardrobes; two fitted with king-sized beds and the third a super-king which can be split into two singles. Families and friends of all ages enjoy Woodlands House, the fourth bedroom is either created into a fun-filled children’s room for younger families with a teepee and teddy’s; alternatively, it can be kept minimalistic for adult group holiday bookings.

The village of Berrynarbor is something of a hidden gem, sitting within one of North Devon’s Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with beautiful woodland walks and golden beaches within easy reach from this stunning Berrynarbor holiday cottage.
Woodlands House is in a particularly opportune position being surrounded by lush, green woodlands and within walking distance of Berrynarbor’s village centre where you will find a traditional 500 year old pub and small convenience shop.
With Woodland House sitting near to the edge of The Exmoor National Park, you will have endless coastal walks right on your doorstep. This is something that any four-legged friends who come along with you are sure to enjoy just as much as the humans of the group.
Also located nearby is the vibrant seaside town of Ilfracombe which is less than 15 minutes away from Woodlands House and offers a range of cafés, restaurants and beaches to spend your days at. Live music is regularly played on the pier creating a vibrant atmosphere for you to enjoy. Boat trips are also available for those who want to experience something a little different, and if you’re lucky, you might even spot a dolphin!
