Sunnyside Cottage is the perfect base, within proximity to Barbon, just a few minutes walk, where you’ll find a local pub and deli. Kirkby Lonsdale is 3 miles away with independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The historic Devil’s Bridge is perfect in the summer; for bathing, picnics and riverside walks. The village of Ingleton has a beautiful circular waterfall trail or White Scar Caves to explore. Slightly further afield is the Lake District, with an abundance of breathtaking walks up mountains and around lakes, and spend the entire day outdoors soaking up the views.

Ingleton Falls is a must - we completed it in 1 hour 50 mins and even stopped for an ice cream in the sun!

"Used as a stop off for a relax between a walking holiday and a friends birthday and it is such a perfect spot! The cottage is decorated beautifully and everything you need is on hand!
We didn’t even leave the cottage (we were very tired!) so can’t advise on local stuff but the bed is so comfy the bath and shower are amazing and the hot tub is gorgeous!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunnyside Cottage - it provided a fantastic location for exploring the Lakes/Yorkshire Dales. The decor inside the Cottage is extremely modern and we enjoyed relaxing on an evening with the large bath, hot tub and log burner. I would recommend the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail and the circular walk from the Ribblehead Viaduct to Whernside. Also, Kirby Lonsdale is only a 10 minute drive away which has plenty of restaurants and I would recommend a visit to The Royal Barn (if you are into local/craft beer)! I would definitely recommend this Cottage and would love to come again!"
