See York from the top of Clifford’s Tower and spot the castle remains throughout the city, and explore the plethora of shops and restaurants right in the centre. The Farmhouse is not only the perfect base for exploring bustling, historic towns but is also within reach of the East Coast and seaside towns such as Filey and Bridlington.

Last minute change....amazing service
"Easy and user friendly webpage to book with. We initially booked a property and paid in full, however a week before we were due to go the owner contacted us direct to say that could not accommodate our dates, which put us in a real panic not knowing what we would be able to do. However, after contacting Eden retreats direct and we had call back from Josh, you put our minds at ease and gave the option of a refund or in finding us alternative accommodation. We took the option of an alternative place/accommodation, which ended up being at a lower price than what we had paid for originally (the refund was paid back to us, promptly). We have no negative feedback on where we have just had a lovely week of relaxing, chilling and exploring. Amazing accommodation, perfect location, with loads of lovely extras upon our arrival. We stayed at Old Well Cottage, Belncarn, Cumbria, we highly recommend this place, the owners were very welcoming, lovely family run place. Love, love, loved this place!
"We stayed here for two weeks and it was a great location to explore lots of different areas (one hour from Filey/ Hornsea/ Scarborough. We also enjoyed looking around Pocklington and had some nice meals in the pubs there.
The cottage itself is decorated immaculately and very spacious for 4 people. It has an Internet telly which gets all the free view channels but also allows you to log into your own Netflix and Disney Plus accounts if you have these. The hosts were great and really helpful.
Tip: Tesco deliver there! We got all our food delivered on day 1!"
