Marared Gypsy Hut is furnished with contemporary colours and style, with a vibrant kitchen wall and geometric pillows on the bed. Cook up a delicious breakfast in the morning for your loved one in the fully working kitchen, complete with two ring hob, oven and fridge/freezer.

A cosy double bed sits comfortably against the wall, and a wood burner is opposite, keeping the hut warm during the cooler months. Serving the hut is a modern ensuite with a walk-in shower, toilet and basin, providing your own space to freshen up.

Double doors open out onto the mini balcony with steps leading down to the outdoor seating and a private lake where you can sit with a glass of bubbly and experience pure bliss.

Marared Gypsy Hut has featured on the BBC1 show, ‘Interior Design Masters’, a show where ten professional designers take on different briefs and compete with the opportunity to be crowned the winner. Brook Cottage Shepherds’ Huts make a grand appearance in the show’s fifth episode, where the contestants transform the traditional huts into unique, luxury accommodation for two.

Marared Gypsy Hut is named after Llywelyn the Great’s (c. 1173 – 11 April 1240) fifth daughter. Each luxury hut at Brook Cottage is in celebration of the women of this great dynasty.

Marared Gypsy Hut is located near the seaside town of Pwllheli, with beaches such as Abersoch and Pwllheli right around the corner. Both offer plenty of places to eat; perhaps you’d fancy a fish and chips on the beach, or if you wish to use the self-catering facilities in the hut, there are convenience stores in both towns. For those seeking a walking holiday, travel to Llŷn Peninsula for a spectacular coastal walk or Snowdonia National Park for views across to Ireland in the distance.
